Elaine and Chris were so much fun, I know we say that often, but she came prepared with some awesome props, such as the rain boots and hat, we supplied the red balloon, combine all that with her openness towards photographing in the rain. Needless to say they were great we had a blast. It was a bummer the ceremony had to be moved indoors, but the Seattle Tennis Club made the best of it as always. Can't wait to get all of the images edited and share with the couple. Until then, enjoy...

When Lara and Brant called us and inquired about our availability for their wedding, we initially were going to have to decline, as my daughters graduation was the same weekend, but when we found out they were getting married in Mazama, WA, which is just a stones throw away from Winthrop, we knew we had to make it work, so we did! The couple was so inviting and warm, their love for each other was all over their faces. Beautiful sun and a great group of people. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day...

Jen and I have been super busy the last few months with our Florida studio and getting ready for the upcoming wedding season. Melissa and Kemp were married in a quaint little place in Bothell, WA. This would be our first time photographing a wedding at Russell's, so we went out a few days before the wedding to check it out. I am so glad we did because it is a technically challenging place to shoot a wedding. Luckily Melissa helped us out by bring in some up-lighting to create a beautiful ambiance. We took the couple to Bothell Landing and had a great time with them and the bridal party. I must say I have not laughed that hard in a long time... it was so much fun. What a cute couple I must say. Congrats! you guys...

Sometimes Jen and I get the itch to photograph one of our Associates weddings. Katy and Doug booked one of our associate photographer packages, but they were so cute together and so much fun that we just couldn't resist. They were married in Seattle, but the reception was at a brand new venue in Mukilteo, Rose Hill Community Center. I really liked it a lot for many reason, but the view was gorgeous...

We just love photographing at SODO Park. The people are great, the food by Herban Feast is nothing short of amazing and when you mix in a couple like Brianne and Nick, it just makes for a perfect day. The weather was just right, as we love overcast for portraits. I could post a hundred of my favorites, but something tells me it would create too much clutter.

Anytime we get to photograph at the Arctic Club, we are super excited. The dome ceiling is completely amazing! Mix the hotel's atmosphere with a relaxed, fun couple and rain which magically stopped for just enough time to shoot at a local park, and you'll find us to be happy campers. (Ok, so I was also really excited about the delicious risotto balls during the cocktail hour, but that's another story.)

The uplighting Nicole and Dave added to the room really made it pop. Check out the photo Jody snapped of Nicole and her dad. I just love the dramatic feel of those lights and their priceless expressions.--Jen & Jody

A couple of weeks ago we finally caught a break in the rain, my phone rang and Sophath was like lets do this!!! Jen was not able to attend so I put my superman costume on and met the couple at the UW campus where they went to school. We had a great time and the couple warmed up quick along with the weather. Here are a few of my favs... Jody

Aislinn and Peter are getting married at SODO park this year and live in California. While visiting family for the holidays, we trekked around Seattle on a sunny but chilly 22 degree day. They did great even though it was so cold with the wind coming off the water. I felt so bad as I was wearing a hat, scraff and gloves and they are just freezing... I think Jen hid in the car most of the time :-)

You guys are super cute and we are so excited to be a part of your big day. The photos turned out great.

Our wonderful Associate Photographer Michael photographed Jennifer and Chris' wedding in 2009 and we were delighted when they called us to photograph Jennifer's maternity photos. Jen and I always jump at the opportunity and so when little Jake was born, we couldn't wait to take his photos. Congrats you both and see you on the next one... Cheers!

It is such an honor when we are asked to photograph our brides maternity photos after their wedding. In the case of Riely and Isaiah, Jen and I photographed their wedding in 2006 and their Maternity photos in 2007, along with the baby Pictures of Sweet Nadia. Well as you can see by the photos below, Nadia is now almost four and her new baby sister Annie arrived in 2010. Jen and I were so excited to see them all again and photograph the newest addition to the family. It was a beautiful day in December and we all had a great time!

Fun in the sun was an understatement!!! This amazing couple from Kauai, Hawaii flew to San Diego for their destination wedding and what a party it was...

We had such a great time with Karen and Gil and their crazy bridal party of like 20 of their closest friends. The weather was beautiful and so was their wedding.

I can't say how important it is to trust your photographer when they make a request or like a certain light... It also helps when you are just down for fun, in Jen and Rob's case, we had the best of both worlds... I will let their photos speak for it...
