Aislinn and Peter grew up in Washington but live in California, so planning there wedding from long distance was a chose to say the least. Jen and I absolutely love photographing at the SODO Park venue in Seattle and the food by Herban Feast is nothing short of amazing. Here are a few of our favorite shots from the wedding. Congrats you guys!
Photographing milestones. That is what we do and our passion. While each wedding we photograph is unique and special in it's own way, Michelle and Bryan's really stood out to us in a personal way. For starters, they are the kind of people you meet, and after five minutes you feel like you've known them your whole life. Super nice and COMPLETELY hilarious. I'm talking SNL funny!
We did two engagement sessions with them prior to the wedding day, both unforgettable on so many levels...from meeting their little dog Bentley to losing Bryan's glasses on a beach (then finding them again), and lots of laughs in between, Jody and I were highly anticipating their wedding day.
Michelle's personality was perfectly summed up in her outrageously unique Luly Yang dress and designer shoes...all glittery with the exception of their red bottoms. I love that Bryan was making a bold statement as well...suspenders and bow ties are BACK!
Both the ceremony and reception were at the Bellevue Westin, and our photo sessions were at numerous downtown Seattle locations.
We might be just as obsessed with Michelle and Bryan as they say they are about us! Jody and I really felt part of their family that night. Michelle's parents both hugged us, thanking us for sharing our talents with them. So sweet! --Jen (and Jody)
The fun thing about photographing other photographer's weddings is they know how to go with the flow and have a good time! Lacy is a portrait and wedding photographer, so of course we felt very humbled that she wanted Jody and I to shoot her wedding.
Lacy and Matt's backyard wedding was incredibly cute. The homemade pies, jars of jam and wildflowers added the perfect touch to her low-key day. Gotta love a dog in a tux, too!
Congratulations, Lacy & Matt!
