Bethany & James--3.27.10--Conroe, Texas

Bethany and James met us at the March Wedding Expo in 2009, and exactly a year later we shot their wedding in Texas. We had lovely weather, both blue sky at times and some nice cloud cover for a different look in their photos. The venue was extremely cool with many unique angles to shoot, and Jody and I both decided we could have easily spent all day shooting the bride/groom portraits there and still wouldn't have touched every possible angle. It so so cool!

Super fun, relaxed bridal party, which we love!

Thank you, Beth and James, for choosing us to photograph your big day! We love traveling for weddings and diversifying our work. Yeehaw!

Emilie, Brian and Boston's Family Session

Jody and I are in Texas this weekend for a wedding. We've never been here before, and we are super psyched for the wedding tomorrow! It just so happens that Emilie and Brian, also knows as the "Featured Wedding" couple from our Jen and Jody website, lives in Texas! Jody and I were honored to take their family photos and meet their newest addition, Boston.

While we don't advertise family photos, we are happy to offer these sessions to our brides and grooms. I absolutely love coming full-circle, watching as these warm and loving people become parents. Capturing these milestones is such an honor to us!

Believe it or not, these photos were taken at a shopping center, similar to the feel of Redmond Towne Center, for those of you who know where that is. Amazing photos can happen anywhere, cars and bystanders don't shake us.

Thank you, Emilie and Brian! We love you guys and are so blessed by your constant referrals. I think we have photographed at least four of your friends' weddings by now. :-)

March Madness

Is it already March? Where has the time gone? This has been a very busy 1st quarter for Jen and I.

Aside from the seven weddings in January and February, album designing and charity work, March is going to be the busiest yet. This weekend we will be taking Melissa, my daughter who is turning 12 to San Diego for some fun in the sun. She loves animals so we plan to go to Sea World and the zoo. On March 27th we are off to photograph a wedding in Texas while Michael holds down the fort with a wedding at Clise Mansion. April looks quiet with only six weddings... whew...

We submitted 7 weddings to Seattle Bride Magazine from the end of 2009, we are excited to see what they select for the next issue.

Jen and I had the pleasure of doing some photo work for Herban Feast and SoDo park at a recent event. I will post some photos soon... cheers all..
