We had a ton of fun with Cheri and Chris and their bridal party. The weather was great for March and took the couple all around Seattle for some fun stuff. The couple was married at First Baptist in Seattle and had their reception at the wonderful Fairview club.
Congratulations Chris and Cheri....!
Amanda and Nate were married at the Lake Union Cafe in Seattle. Their ceremony wasn't until late in the evening, so Jen and I decided to donate some free time so that we could do some shots during the day since we LOVE natural light. We took the couple to Gasworks park and spent an half an hour or so grabbing some fun stuff. The ceremony and reception were beautiful and we love the Cafe. Congrats guys! Jen and Jody
We are photographing Marie and Patrick's wedding in Southern California this fall, and this engagement was such a fun experience for us, we are looking forward to the wedding even more! Both Marie and Patrick were a little nervous to start, but they both opened up quickly and were very smiley. Jody did his usual comedy-act (ie, bad jokes, silly gestures...whatever it took) and brought out their natural smiles. The session was at Kerry Park and the surrounding area.
Here a few photos of my favorite person in the whole world. The first photo in Sepia was taken by me of course on the subway after we arrived in SF. The second photo of Jen is of her sitting on the trolly on our way to Fisherman's Warf. The two up close photos of Jen were taken while we ate lunch at Jen's Favorite Cafe "Boudin". The black and White of Jen smiling I took as we headed back to our hotel on the Cable Car at 1 AM, that was too much fun... If it wasn't for Jen and her sweet tooth, we would have gotten back sooner... :-)... She became addicted to Kara's Cupcakes in Ghiradelli Square!
And lastly, As we finished up the e-session, I asked Jordann if she would be so kind to take a photo of us. She did a great job and of course I had to give her a few pointers... actually it was pretty funny trying to tell her in 10 seconds how to compose the photo I envisioned.. Anywho.... just wanted to share some... I love you Jen... Mwah! Happy Birthday!
Jen and I had so much fun in San Francisco we just had to share some of our favorite photos... We can't wait to go back now that we have some favorite spots to hang out.. cheers!
What a fun and adventurous trip this turned out to be. We celebrated Jen's bday in S.F. and hit all the standard sites. It was fun for a couple of days and then came the e-session.
Drew and Jordann were such a blast. We drove all over downtown S.F. and they were so accommodating. We shot tons of stuff starting at 8 am and then again for some sunset stuff. Thank you guys for being such troopers.
But the fun really didn't happen until we got back from the second shoot and we realized I had lost my wallet on the beach. Yikes.... Imagine us and the couple roaming around Bakers Beach in total darkness with two flashlights looking for a small black item... hmmm. good luck.. so on to S.F. Airport to convince TSA that I really am Jody... Let's just say we got back to Seattle at 2 AM, just a few hours before the wedding we would have to shoot would start. Thank goodness we have backup teams on standby! We made it in time for the wedding and all and all it will be a very memorable trip. Thank you again to the couple for helping us out in a pinch. We owe you! Cheers Jen and Jody
We will post some photos soon!
Vicki and Frank were a fun couple and we had a great time at the golf course, even with the snow at all. Cheers to you both and best wishes, Jen and Jody
