Engagement Sessions in New York City

Jen and I had the pleasure of recently traveling back east to New York to photograph two engagement sessions.

We started in Central Park (CP) at 7am eastern standard time, 4am our time. We were so tired and to boot, when we arrived at CP, there was a marathon beginning in the park which made it so hard to find a spot to get comfortable with our first couple. We finally climbed a fence to one of the close- off fields to get some photos without 1000 runners in the background. As we were climbing out, we got busted!... thanks to the quick action of our couple, we got off with only a warning.

The second couple had more time and wanted to go all over the city, so we trekked from CP via subway to Times Square, Grand Central Station, the Brooklyn bride and finally Brooklyn. While in Grand Central, we ran into another couple who had just gotten married and couldn't resist taking a few photos of our own... It was a fun day!

Cheers! Jen and Jody

Trip to Mexico cancelled

Jen and I were headed to Puerto Vallarta in a couple of weeks for some R&R but decided to cancel due to the recent H1N1 pandemic. We were really looking forward to some sun and scouting for an upcoming wedding in Sayulita.. Bummer...
